PhotoHunt: Space

The PhotoHunt theme this week is "Space" (Please click on the photos for a better look)

And being a Space Geek from way back:

These photos were taken at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. Otherwise known as "Mission Control". Awesome place!

Wow that's a wonderful sight for this space geek too, In 1989 I got to meet my childhood hero in Scotland - Neil Armstrong.

I was doing a short stint working on passport control at Prestwick Airport in Scotland. A private plane landed with a group of people coming for a golfing holiday. One of the party was Neil. I would have done a Wayne's World "I'm not worthy" if I had known about Wayne's World at the time!

Wow, you actually have pictures of CM. This is the coolest I've seen so far in this weeks' PH.

And you are right on their doorstep - a good Space to occupy.

I almost posted some photos from my visit to the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, FL. But, in the end, I went for a different type of SPACE.

Really geared for space exploration.

I've been to Cape Canaveral in Florida and seen these kinds of space shuttles and we actually got up at 4AM to see a space launch -- it was so cool!
