Sunday Scenery: Williamsburg
Today's Sunday Scenery is of Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia:
This was taken in February 2008. MJ and I wandered down one of the back roads on the perimeter of the historic area of Colonial Williamsburg.
Did you know that many of the smaller homes in the historic area - the ones that aren't part of the tour - are lived in? Colonial Williamsburg rents many of the properties to people who work there and average people, too. In return, they keep the properties maintained so that you and I can enjoy the scenery! Can you imagine living there?

Sounds peaceful - no neighbours from hell.
I bet that would be quite the unique living experience, wouldn't it?
One of these days I'm going to get back down to Williamsburg, it's been years and years and years since I've been there and I didn't get to see much of the area while I was there. Another trip is definitely in order!
Excellent contribution this week! Colonial Williamsburg is a fascinating place to visit...especially with a camera. My wife and I were there several years ago and I would love to go back. I don't have a real excuse since it's only about four hours from where I live.
Can't wait to go there again...a treat for this history/photography buff!
I haven't been since I was a kid. I would love to live there, it would be quite an experience.
You can see mine at Flo's Place
I've never been there..but I had better start visiting places that I want to see. Perfect for the theme RJ..
Looks lovely....but do you think they'd allow four yowling hoolies to live there? Haha! Great photo and info :o)
It looks like a lovely place to live!
what a nice looking scenery
