PhotoHunt: Breakfast

The PhotoHunt theme this week is "Breakfast"

I know, I'm late! For me, anyway....

When this little guy sees me puttering around the backyard, he races across the utility lines, down one tree in my neighbor's yard, up another, leeeaaaps! into the mango tree canopy, down its trunk, and peers around from behind, until he sees I've dumped some "squirrel chow" onto the top of this old blue Rubbermaid container under it. Then, when I've turned my back and walked away a few feet, another great leap onto the container, and he'll munch away happily at his Breakfast.

At least it keeps him off the bird feeders for awhile. If you can't beat 'em, feed 'em.

Happy Weekend, all!

Great photo. We have a two squirrels in our yard and they just eat at the feeder with everyone else. We just make sure to have enough for everyone.

Stop by and see my Photo Hunt if you have time.

Looks like we thought alike this week!

I think it is very funny how squirrels eat by holding their food in both hands!

What fun. My dad would probably agree with you feeding the squirrels. He had a couple of bad experience with said critter and although he didn't kill them, he did relocate a family just so they would leave him alone. Me, I like them and think they are cute little bugger. I smiled at the picture.

He just likes a little exercise before he settles down to eat.

Cool that you managed to take a photo of the little guy because if memory serves me right, squirrels tend to be on the hyper-active side! :)

Heheh.... If you can't beat them, feed them! I like that line. This one's a real cute (maybe clever) squirrel too.

What a cute little visitor - he sure is enjoying his breakfast!
Thanks for stopping by yesterday. I was busy with grandchildren while their mom & dad went shopping so I am just getting around to my comments this morning.
Want to send some of that Florida weather our way? - we are in the deep freeze today and could sure use some sunshine!

Thank you so much for dropping by to visit me. I am really late. But, I just got some issues resolved this weekend with my satellite company and now I am trying my best to get caught up.

I love this. I too have a little squirrel that does the very exact thing.

As a matter of fact he is in my shots this week for WS.

Thanks for visiting me and I love your breakfast post.

I hope you have a fantastic week!:-)

Sorry for my late visit.

That's a great capture. We don't have squirrels around here and I find them cute and interesting.

He looks very happy! I know they're pests, but they're very pretty.

Your photo is great for the theme. But they have destroyed more of my bird-feeders that I can count.
