The PhotoHunt theme this week is "Strings".
This is the web of the spiny-backed orb-weaver spider. I've posted photos of the spider before (pretty cool in the close-up), but because of this week's theme, I concentrated on the web. Pretty "stringy", no? As always, I encourage you to click on the photos.
And now, for something completely different:This is the unlovely end of those beautiful vanda orchids. Click on it and look closely and you'll see strings on strings!

Good choice, now it is Autumn there should be plenty about with dew drops but I never thought of it.

Good captures. It's funny that we think alike. I almost went with a specific spider web myself, but since I used spiders in a previous PhotoHunt I figured maybe I would give them a rest or people might think I'm a little preoccupied with them, lol.

This is a good stringy post. Orb webs are so beautiful.
That's a great idea for the String theme! Taking photos of spiderwebs is very hard, but yours came out great.
