I lived on City Island, in the Bronx, NY for almost two years... In all that time, I was completely unaware that there were Quaker Parrots living in the wild all over the island... And it isn't like there were one or two. They are considered my ConEd to be a "pest".
You would have thought that in that time I would have SEEN one or someone might have mentioned that they were there!
Haha great shot. I love that no one leaves the garden hungry (raptors aside) We do our best to ensure the same... although with three active cats we don't encourage birds at ground level of course! Happy weekend

Great Motto and beautiful photos of your animal friends... Loved it!
Terrific shots! I wish not being hungry was a blessing everyone enjoyed, though.
Those parrots are beautiful! I haven't seen them around my home, but we see big flocks of the all-green ones a lot.

Love the parakeets! Do you have those in your garden?
I just hope all the squirrels and the birds I feed at the backyard feel the same way.
No doubt, the little birds and beasties are eXtremely thankful for the food and shelter. Fun post! ThanX for stopping by.
This is a great post RJ...LOL
I loved the squirrel! We have black ones here in Michigan...not so cute. My hunt is up, please come and visit
We have three or four squirrels that visit our feeder along with a cardinal couple but zero parakeets. Amazing and yes, they always appear thankful.
If you have time, please visit my photo hunt this week.
